Patricia Wilson, Marriage & Family Therapist - Counseling for improving relationships of all types.
Feeling anxious and fearful?
If so, maybe you'd like to have some help dealing with those feelings. Feeling anxious and/or fearful does not mean you are crazy. Although there are times when it may seem that way. I use techniques that have proven very helpful for people experiencing these sensations.

Have you had a panic attack?
     with shortness of breath
racing heart (sometimes pain in the chest)
        sweating, nausea, dizziness?
And, you're not having a heart attack?

Not all people who feel anxious or afraid have panic attacks. And, some anxiety and fearfulness is healthy. But, when a panic attack (sometimes referred to as a "melt-down") comes on, it can be devastating.

Are you afraid it'll happen again?
             concerned about when?   where?

Does this concern keep you from going places and doing things? Is it difficult for you to stay places when it starts getting crowded? Do you stay away from people you know? Would you like to start living your life again?
